Hi, I'm Texas. 

No, I'm not a guy. I'm also not American. But I am a little different from your standard copywriter. The first eight years of my career were spent in the mental health sector, supporting people at their most vulnerable. This has given me a strong sense of empathy and a mature, calm presence when things go haywire.  

In 2020 , I swapped counselling for copywriting – landing a job post-AWARD School at VML. Since then, I’ve crafted ideas for major brands like ADF Careers, Keno, Victoria’s Big Build and Monash University. These ideas have spared thousands of people from road rage, inspired Defence recruits to ace their interviews, launched young Aussies into agriculture careers, and taught survival skills through Snapchat. And that’s why I love what I do.
